Commercial Carpenter

Job requirements for journeyman carpenters:

• Minimum 5 years’ commercial carpentry experience, with references
• Must have great communication skills
• Experience should include knowledge in metal framing, drywall, general trades, carpentry, and acoustical ceilings
• General knowledge of various building trades (millwork, FRP, wood framing, door/hardware installation) with standard practices is a plus
• Must be self-motived with strong work ethic
• Must be willing to travel for out of town jobs on occasion
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus

Apprenticeship Opportunity

Job requirements for carpenter apprenticeship program:

• Applicant will be required to purchase basic carpentry tools, if not already owned
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must communicate well
• Must be self-motivated and eager to learn new things
• Must be willing to travel for out of town jobs on occasion
